When the final raindrop fell to the earth,
The world came to life once more,
And the wilted flowers bloomed, delicate but filled with determination,
Nothing could erase the memories of the endless showers,
Which began years before, years unknown and forgotten,
When it first began, rain unyielding, relentless,
Countless nights spent wishing for a beam of light in the darkness,
I dreamt of the joyful and prosperous times awaiting,
Full of promise and hope for a new life.
